March 10, 2010 · AtticRep, one of the city’s professional theatre companies is once again tackling a broad social topic for its annual Forum Theatre Project.

Based on a concept created by South American theatre luminary Augusto Boal, the forum allows the audience to improvise with the actors and find answers to questions that can sometimes divide us.

Rick Frederick is an ensemble member at AtticRep, and he’s directing the project. He sat down with Terry Gildea to talk about this year’s subject: Love and Marriage.

AtticRep’s Forum Theatre Project takes place Thursday and Friday night in the Ruth Taylor Building on the campus of Trinity University. Showtime is 8 p.m. and admission is free.  The group will also perform at Luminaria Saturday night downtown.
