March 11, 2010 ·The 1960s are considered the period of psychedelic or Op Art. The exhibition begins Saturday, March 13 until August 1, 2010 at the San Antonio Museum of Art will feature an exhibition titled "Psychedelic: Optical and Visionary Art since the 1960s."
SAMA's Brown Foundation Curator of Contemporary Art, David Rubin, collected 24 nationally and locally recognized artists, some who were pioneers of psychedelic art, to include in the exhibition.
